Kamal Kandpal leads the Risk Advisory Services (RAS) practice at DPNC Global. A qualified Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Delhi University, Kamal is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. With over 24 years of experience in the risk advisory domain, his core expertise includes Internal Audit, SOX/IFC compliance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessment and Internal Controls.
At DPNC, his role is to focus on advising clients and resolving complex challenges across risk, operations and regulatory domains. He is also actively involved in developing innovative RAS solutions to enhance client delivery, drive business growth and foster talent development.
Before joining DPNC Global, Kamal held leadership roles in the risk and controls space at several Fortune 500 companies, including Cognizant, HCL, and EXL. He began his career with PwC, where he spent nearly four years in audit and assurance.
Kamal has a strong orientation towards technology, with hands-on experience in implementing audit analytics tools, process transformation, and automation initiatives. He has also conducted statutory audits, tax audits and limited reviews for both listed and unlisted companies.
