Varun is working as a Senior Consultant with the firm in Risk Advisory Division. He is a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Insolvency Professional and Graduate (B.COM-H) from Delhi University. He has also cleared Certificate course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection (FAFD) & Indian Accounting Standards (IND ASs) conducted by ICAI.
He has over 12 years of professional experience in Risk Consulting and Audit Assurance. Prior to association with DPNC global, Varun has worked with a leading Consulting firm as a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory for more than 7 years. Prior to that Varun has experience working with Ernst & Young in Audit Assurance for more than 3 years.
He has worked across diverse industry verticals like Automobile, FMCG, Wind Power, Pharmaceuticals, F&B, Dairy, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hospitality, Logistics, Packaging Films, NBFC, Car Dealership, E-Commerce etc.
His areas of expertise include Internal, Operational and Statutory Audits. He has worked on several consulting projects involving Cost optimization, business process improvement, business diagnostic reviews, forensics, designing standard operating procedures, IFC etc. He has also done Statutory Audits, Tax Audits and Limited reviews of Listed and non-listed clients.
